I did this...about 3 or 4 years ago at Hipbone. During my overlapping gestures phase. I would use the first half hour of gestures to make a map of overlapping lines. Then I would spend the next half hour filling in the spaces with different muscles masses I could see on the model, while alternating colors on the separate shapes made by the overlapping gesture sketch lines. I'd accent or leave certain portions untouched to emphasize them.
