By "drop-out" i mean artists who are tired of the same old art corall. Tired of the game, tired of the business, the superficial investment structure, the corporate professional approach. Tired of the frame sham. Tired of the whole thing.
Figure most of you may be young artists fresh out of college or still in. So you will most likely screech at such thoughts, your eyes full of dollar signs...Sure, we all need to make some cash sometimes (if only there were spaces where we could barter for our basic needs instead!); but what about this whole set of values that encapsulates the art milieu?
Well, I'm a drop-out. i want to see something more, something deeper; a deeper, more meaningful way to utilize my gift. While retaining my inclination to be responsible to humanity.
