actually, i think its a good idea to encourage more (spontaneous, autonomous) panics. this, of course, puts the ball in ed and my court, such that we can improve the docs/interface to the "new" panic.

ideally, what we (ed,me) will do is make it so you DONT have to remember the crazy naming convention! all cgi, all html, ALL THE TIME. this is our challenge.
