I'm in full agreement with Erin. What is art about except the "re-presentation" of subjective truth, and what truth could be more compelling than that derived from raw experience? Is Erin at fault for not propagandizing her feelings to suit someone else's political agenda, or restricting her vision to someone else's sense of decorum? Better to respect the will at work here, and try to allow its meaning to be absorbed in the experience of her art. I think she's done beautifully.
