Oh my! The Coffeehouse, a caffeineteria that used to be on 39th and Hawthorne in Portland is now out of business. It comes as no surprise to those who know the lifespans of businesses in that building. I'll miss the place in all of its 24-hour dimlit warmth. I'll also miss the budding public HyGrid Unplugged that was stuck in one of their "guestbooks". It was really starting to shape up too. Every time I went in for a big plastic mug of joe, I'd peep in on the strip as it blossomed. Also lost, an experimental "Gridcosm Unplugged". If you sympathise with this cause, start a HyGrid unplugged in YOUR town! ...e
