Description: I would walk down that road all the time. I would walk to the stores I could get to; I would walk to the bus and part time jobs. 1997. I had seen , at that time, after a walk to the store, that Art Spiegelman had become the cartoon editor of Details magazine. I thought I would write him a cartoon letter. On that bristol I drew my walk to the store, and my discovery. Nothing ever came of it, my letter. So here it is, quite a nice piece done in ink, acrylic and colored pencil, along with certain things glued to it. It was a moment in time and you see it here.
