Red Wedding is an original, one of a kind, mixed media collage constructed on a sturdy masonite panel. The brush strokes of highly reflective, metallic paint give the collage rhythm and beauty. It also highlights the photo transfer of the two subject's outward and inner qualities. Elements from both Japan and China are used in this composition as well as a plethora of mixed media elements that add delightful texture. Most areas of the piece are covered with a light-reflecting gold wash that causes the piece to sparkle in the light, but this was difficult to capture in the photograph. | | | |
