You may choose not to provide SITO with an email address, if you wish. However, this will prevent you from using features of SITO which send email to you (such as the Mail List, Discussion Notifications, etc.)

You can choose to set your address as "private"help: Viewable Settings, which will prevent anyone else from seeing your address.

If you make a mistake typing your email address, or SITO gets an error while sending to your address, your email address will be removed from your SITO ID record. If you suspect you are not getting email from SITO, you should visit your SITOmehelp: SITOme and look for a flashing system message telling you of this error. Please enter a working email address and let us know if this problem seems to repeat!
