Do you think sitcoms show real family situations? To a certain degree, but they keep it on a very extreme satire. Through every situation, it's very exaggerated. I'm not saying it doesn't exist. They just have it so out of proportion.

Is there anything in particular on TV that you like or dislike, that you have a strong feeling about? It's like some shows are just like totally senseless. And if it falls into that category, I may watch it sometimes, but I really don't care for it. You know, a particular comedy, like Married With Children, I think that's very destructive to our home life, even though they put it in a funny mode. They're still sending a message of how it puts ideals in people's mind to be a dysfunctional family, in some ways.

What do you think about violence on television? It doesn't really help the situation that's going on in this country, because the country is already violent. And that just desensitizes people more. And it makes it easier for them to do it once they're being fed this consistently. Not to say that people don't differentiate fantasy from reality. However, if you have an idea embedded constantly, constantly, constantly, you can act on it.

If there was one thing about television you could change, what would that be? The one thing I would change, just get rid of all that nonsense. Because television is a very powerful tool, and you can reach a lot of people at one time, just from being on TV. And they, the politicians say they want to bring back the morals. Well, that would be the easiest way to do that. Just as easy as they implant the negative idea or they could show a positive idea. And with that being shown enough times, the majority of people will start to act on it. But if you have all this wish-washiness. And it seems like the way they industry is going, that negative sells. And you know, negative sex and all those type of things sell. So they're just, well, we just go with what sells. But it's really not what sells. We're talking about people's lives. And if you want to get this country back, where they say they want to rebuild it, well, first you have to start with the minds.
