Do you think television portrays things as they really are? No, it doesn't. It's an illusion.

And what is real or unreal about television? Well, they're projecting what they want you to believe. It's a marketing tool. They want you to believe you're going to have whiter teeth and fresher breath if you use their product. They're going to make you believe that you can be the star of this show and your life situations relate to the way this show is with the soap operas, and it's just a strange concept, to make people believe that what they're watching is part of their lives. They can get so into it that they actually believe that what they're watching is true. And these are real people and this is really happening in real life. When in fact it isn't.

What do you think about the police on TV? Police on TV, like police shows? I think they're revolting. I think it's sensationalism. I think it's showing the worst part of society. I think it's, I don't think it's a good thing. I think that they shouldn't put shows like that on television. I think television should be entertaining. And anybody that finds police shows entertaining is a pretty sick person, in my view.

What do you think about violence on television? I don't care for violent television.
