Ranjit Amy MIAMI > TALLAHASSEE > PHILADELPHIA > NEW YORK

TALLAHASSEE / March 6 - 10

Lenara flew into Miami from Brazil and then rode up to Tallahassee with her sister and sister's boyfriend. Ed arrived a day later via bus via train and found Lenara and Melissa pal-ing it up at the station. A joyous moment ensued as the net-friends met face-to-face for the first time.

PHILADELPHIA / March 11 - 14

Lenara and Ed took the train from Tallahassee to Jacksonville, did some shopping and eating, and then took an overnight train north to Philadelphia. They stayed with Ranjit and Nora for a few days and met a half-dozen more cool folks to boot!

NEW YORK CITY / March 14 - 17

Amy Ilyse Rosenthal was Ed's main interest in going to New York, but she'd been called away to her new job a few days early and was unable to be in NYC. Her love was not unfelt, though. She let Ed and Lenara use her (ex-)apartment. Though unfurnished, the place was a terrific home-base and kept the travellers smiling the entire time. Being in the Big Apple also provided several opportunities for SITOid collision.
