Re: The "other" gridcosm (idea)

this is an interesting idea. you know, ed and i have tossed around a handful (okay, many handfuls) of ideas for new synergy projects. granted, TIME is our limiting factor now (sadly!), but we also keep coming up against *what* to do.

there are great ideas out there, and although maybe ed and i might still be aiming to get to some other realm of the synergy world with our next project (which likely will arrive by 2030), if anyone with any coding experience (perl, *nix) wants to take on some ideas like this one, we can certainly chat about it be "sponsored" or "sanctioned" or "hosted" or whatever on sito.

part of the fun of synergy is to use it as an experimental ground to see what flies with people. (or at least it *was* that in the old days, when we actually churned out new projects!). so if you dont mind possibly "wasting" some time making a project that flops (we had plenty of these), what the heck....

anyway, wish i could offer up a clone of myself to do the coding....
