Forgot to mention one of the most compelling reasons for GridCosm being so interesting is that it has been alive and well SO long. It's quite interesting to see the latest busrt of activity going on. Of course, the other stand-out characteristic is that it is a TOTALLY UNIQUE project. there is really nothing like it on the net (elegant interface, great content, dynamic collaboration, etc, etc...)
