Is anybody archiving the animations?

I'm only a beginner with websites and html and stuff but I know some of you are not. Perhaps we could start a tradition of archiving the gif animations and putting links to them in the gridpoem.

BTW I'm also making my first gif animations using a clunky downloaded free program. Does anybody have recommendations for animation software to start out with?
