they have evolved a bit. but how to handle editing? i am leaning towards something like wikipedia, so you can see a history. part of the problem with editing, in my mind anyway, is that it skews the accountability and history of a "conversation". so i think it would be nice if you could, for the sake of completeness, see where someone edited out "YOU SUCK!" out of their post.

i am just an informational purist, maybe? haha
