oh wow, this is absolutely beautiful. it absolutely screams emotion- the somber, solemn feeling in this makes me want to stare at it for a while, trying to figure out what this person is thinking. the pencil work seems minimal but really emphasizes the face, and it works so, so well. such a great piece, even not unrefined.
