...gridcosm?level=1770 1770 is an example of a good patchwork level. A good patchwork level is preferable to a pisspoor patchwork level. Most patchwork levels are pisspoor--1770 is the rare exception to the rule.

There is some blending in a2, c2, a3, b3, and c3--so 1770 is a hybrid of sorts. It's half patchwork and half blendy. Half-assed? Maybe.

My advice is to relax and enjoy. No level will turn out the way you'd expect it to look. You can't totally control Gridcosm. That's the fun and the challenge. If you obsess on trying to control Gridcosm, it will be no fun.
