Description:This is the old ferry, the Kalakala (flying bird), which was the first streamlined ferry in the world, in the mid-thirties. It was brought back to Seattle from Kodiak Alaska where it was a fish-processing plant for thirty years after it was de-commissioned. See www.kalakala.org for more info!
