Description:I received a wonderful, beautiful book of patterns from a well-known henna artist, researcher, teacher, scientist (she does experiments too *winks*) and an altogether generous, hilarious, extremely intelligent, warm and wonderful person, Catherine Cartwright Jones. I can't help but do one of the Moroccan patterns (gosh, so hard to choose, everything is SOOOOO gorgeous!). Used Pakistani premixed and did a little experiment with "kapur" (calcium carbonate & hydrogen oxide) to see if it will help darken the stain. Apparently the kapur helped accelerate the darkening process.
