Well, I'm totally outvoted I guess. I do not like the grey bar at all. I prefer it white with black text. I'll have to redo the graphical top-bar words to fit a grey bar.

I'm torn between doing what I think looks better versus what everyone else seems to think looks better.

Grey schmey!
