and you find that your normal brewing with the medium or mild leaves your palette wanting, don't over compensate with more coffee! He' is a better solution: break out the grinder and give that medium a whirl!

By regrinding your basic medium or mild blend coffee to a finer more espresso like ground, you increase the overall surface area of the coffee to be brewed while unlocking the fresher centers of the grounds. This definitely produce much fuller flavor with the same amount of coffee. Note that bitterness does not increase, that is you will still be able to tell you are tasting a medium or mild variety however the darker overtones of a finer grind will shine thru with a boldness nto so unsimilar to your Columbian or French preferences. So if you've grown accustomed to medium darks and someone brings home a breakfast blend..don't go on a psychotic caffeine addicted rant..just...grind that sht up ti fine powder and your coffee wont taste like dishwater with cream and sugar.

REMEMBER! finer grounds = more surface area = fuller brew! without wasting coffee.
