Artchive Image Details (EXIF)
What is "Image Information (EXIF)"?
At the bottom of the display of some Artchive images, you may
notice a pulldown menu labeled "Image Information". When you
pull down this menu, you will see lots of (boring? meaningless?)
information about the image. You may wonder how this got there.
Most digital cameras (and some software, like recent versions of Photoshop) automatically add this information to the JPEG files they save. When you send these images to SITO, we display it. Why? I guess it just seemed kinda fun.
But I don't like it!
If you are unhappy with this information being displayed, please let us know, and we will probably make some way for this information to be turned off.
