Each user with a SITO ID can change a small icon which will be used to represent that user on many pages within SITO. This is the icon people will click to get to the user's SITOme.

The default icon is a 21-pixel-wide by 7-pixel-high GIF with the three letters of the SITO ID it corresponds to. It is pretty ugly! It is much nicer to change your icon.

First, create a 21x7 image. This can be a challenging, but fun exercise in aesthetics! Once you have done so, save it as a GIF file (other file formats might work, but we can't guarantee it!).

From your User Setting page, use the Icon "Browse" button to chose the file you made. Then click the "Send GIF" button. With any luck, the image will be sent to SITO and replace your icon.

Note: Some browsers will cache the old icon. If this happens try doing shift-reload or some other crazy browser reload tricks you might know about (like quitting and starting it up again... yuk).
