Comfusion Net Participation Primer
What we're doing is making a zine, a xerographical publication, out of all the art created at all the Comfusion parties. The zine size will be "half-legal" (7 inches wide, 8.5 inches tall).
Some ways you can participate in Comfusion via the net.

- Join us on Internet Relay Chat (IRC).
Here's a FAQ about IRC and Undernet.
Server: UNDERNET.ORG,
Room: #sito
- Download images from the FTP site (see below) and manipulate them, or add your own clip-art to the FTP site.
- Add to Gridcosm.
- Create a Shuffleupagus comic with some friends.
- Create whole pages for the zine in text, graphics, comics or collage. Then upload them to our FTP server. Our loose theme is "better loving through chemistry". Visual motifs are "elephants" and "monkeys".
- Draw a picture of Darth Vader (from "Star Wars") from memory. That is, do NOT use visual reference.
- Send web-cam photos.
- Make some drawings exquisite corpse style.
- Send Gameboy photos.
- Email writing or journals. Day in the life type stuff.
- You can create whole pages or parts of pages or even just "starters" of pages to which other party-cipants can add.
How do you send images or pages for the zine?
You can email JPG files to oed@yahoo.com. We have an FTP site set up if you'd prefer to transfer files that way. Also, you can put your images up on YOUR OWN site and just email the links.
The FTP information:
HOST: ftp.monkey.org
DIRECTORY: /pub/users/jfusion/incoming/
VIA BROWSER: ftp://ftp.monkey.org/pub/users/jfusion/incoming/
Video conferencing!
For those of you with vid-cams on your computer, try video conferencing using
iVisit. Here's a recent post about the room: "bri.cors" wrote:

site news : 3/2012
new server
march 26, 2012 -
we are on the new server! hopefully you will not notice or care. if you see something weird, please check out the status page linked below
for how to contact us and for more info.
to call the development of SITO.org "stagnant" for the last, oh, decade may even be a bit of an understatement. sure, our (p)articipants
have been active, much to our delight. but we elves behind SITO have been all but absent. (and even actually absent at times.)
we hope to change this path soon. honest. as part of this new direction, there are a couple things we wanted to mention:
thank you for your ongoing support!! next year marks our TWENTIETH (20!?!?) anniversary, and we hope to shake things up just a little bit.
