Take a trip on my chariot, she said, take a trip on a goddammit! When the skies were blue and palm trees shaded us from the sun, when everything was askew and a cold feat was accomplished, when the day was far from new and root vegetables rained from the heavens, of which the dharma bums ate like ancient greek royalty.
