Description:Crawler" is a 61k JPEG image whose dimensions are 800 x 600. "Crawler" is a picture of a creature modelled via L-systems. The software used is a more sophisticated version of the software I used to create "Vine Cathedral". The image was rendered with POV-Ray. The mountain range is the same set of mountains I used in my animation, "The Visitor", which is not currently available on OTIS. The sky is my own, and is modelled on what Ohio sunsets look like about an hour after a storm. (Ohio, by the way, has truly breathtaking sunsets.) The Crawler texture is also my own; I'm not sure what I was thinking when I designed it, but I think it works very well for the Crawler. The ground texture was thrown together in about 20 seconds; I'm not real happy with it.
