Description:24"x24"x1.5" £ 1,100 craig_goodwin1@hotmail.co.uk I wanted this painting to have a great texture, depth and multi-toned effect to it when viewed. The surface is a multi-layered coating of gold paint with raised sections that project out of the picture towards you. The deeper copper / bronze coloured areas, which are intersected in places by some of the raised tail-like gold sections, take on a translucent feel when viewed at different angles and lighting conditions. It is a piece that should have a limelight location which has mutli directional lighting on it in order to accentuate the surface qualities.
