Description:
One of the scurrious illustrations in my sketchbook. When a bunch of us artist would gather at the Downtown Grounds in Omaha, Nebraska, i would draw these "Eddies"... which are sketches with little to no presketching done. A few lines in pencil, and the rest is purely improvisation.
I called them "Eddies" after Ed Stastny, who's own art style nspired me to do this experiment. It was a great way to infuse more spontainious fluidity into my normally tight pencils.
