Pupil: “The Elite of the "East" seem to be intoxicated of the West. They assign priority to the Western nymph over nymph of heavens even.”
Teacher: “Apparently though silver glitter white, new and attractive yet it blackens hands and cloths on touching.”
Portrait View: (Size 36" x 28" Oil On Canvas Year 2002)
When one falls to deep lust and lechery for worldly attractions he cares none but money, woman and estate. Since the later two are also available at costs, it remains only money to be managed managing all the rest, meeting demands of lust.
Physical blackening of hands is a matter of ones experience. Meaningfully blackening of hands, heart and face even at a later stage is all an explanation of the state of one gone mad after worldly lechery, forgetting the very purpose of his creation. At the end of the day its effects are reflected as an agony written at his face.
Money is allegory of silver. Cloth money-bag is the allegory of heart fallen in lust.
