Description:Acrylic and mixed media, 80x60cm. In July 2000, when our Kalinka gave birth to 13 puppies we couldn’t have been happier, but only a week, later death came knocking at the door and one after another the little puppies began to die. For nights I didn’t sleep, weeping during every flight for every little life, every battle for every little dog, but even with the support we got from the Paramedic Unit, only four survived.
