Description:LDA had proposed to me to make a series of images celebrating some of the more controversial curatorial aspects of the Mistigris computer art collective, such as our inclusion of video game sprites and Lego pixelart, and our focus on social media. Here I was able to do all three at once, making a pseudo-Lego mosaic in ANSI art of holiday-altered Super Mario 3 sprites, staged as an Instagram post. It s dense!
