Impulse Freak / Overload / Participation Specs

THEME/CONTENT
The main character is the STIP, the monkey from Impulse Freak. Basically he/she is a little blobby liney black monkey with white eyes. Your submission needs to feature STIP as the main character. This is for consistency. The end result of this project needs to be a readable narrative, so be sure to maintain some degree of consistency with the plot/story/action of the set that occurs before/after yours.

DIMENSIONS
A circle of roughly 8 inches in diameter scanned at 72dpi. The circle doesn't have to be perfectly round, but be sure it fits in an 8" x 8" square. Word balloons and stuff can poke outside the circle. Any negative space outside the circle needs to be black.

FILESIZE
You only really need to worry about this if you're adding animation. Maximum filesize for any animated image is 75k. If you're uploading a still image, don't worry about it. I will be personally resizing all images and will make sure it's appropriate.

SCANNING
If you don't have a scanner, mail your images (or reproduceable facsimiles) to:

If you do have a scanner, please scan your set at 72dpi and save it as a GIF or JPEG and send it to ifreak@sito.org

RESERVING
Most of the time, I will just assign artists a set, but if you have a specific idea and want to PRECEDE/FOLLOW a specific set or even create a time-loop, just email us (ifreak@sito.org) and we'll set you up. You'll have to tell us which specific set (sets are referred to by Synergy ID and a three number sequence... like "oed003") or sets you want to link to. If you're just waiting around to be assigned, let us know and I'll get you going on something.
