I would venture to say that the totality of the internet is mostly men." i am not sure its so straightforward: http://www.pewinternet.org/PPF/r/171/report_display.asp certainly a lot of (confusing) stats there, but the top-level numbers say there are only slightly less women "on the internet". i couldnt find any study of collaborative art sectors, however. heh
